30 years’ experience of working on strategic research and policy issues associated with Climate Change. Specific expertise on land use, natural environment, and water: including agriculture, forestry, biodiversity, soils, water resources, flooding, and the coastal zone. Independent Research Consultant and Honorary Professor at the UNESCO Centre for Water Law, Policy & Science – University of Dundee, including research associated with the Hydro Nation programme, Scottish Government. Recently embedded researcher with the Welsh Government developing an integrated policy framework on Sustainable Management of Natural Resources. Lead Contributor UK Climate Change Risk Assessment (2012, 2017, 2022) and UK National Ecosystem Assessment (2014).
