In addition, there is special coverage of diverse topics with links to key localities, including lead-mining, the legend of King Arthur, the Helm Wind, the old railways and packhorse roads, John Wesley (Methodism), the Teesdale flowers and the mosstroopers (Border Reivers).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The area covered stretches from Brampton, Haltwhistle and Hexham in the north to Appleby and Kirkby Stephen in the south-west, with Wolsingham and Barnard Castle to the east. Includes Teesdale, Weardale, Allendale, Derwentdale, South Tyne valley, Eden valley (see\u00a0Map<\/a>).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
